Explicitly announcing the transition is a good start, but you can reinforce your transition even more by using visual aids.
Suppose you use a visual aid near the beginning of your presentation to give your blueprint. You can use it again to move to each major point. That way, not only will your audience hear that you're making a transition—they can see it, too. You might even use highlighting on the visual aid to show the audience which point you're moving to:
